Second 649-Foot Tower Approved By FAA At Brickell’s River District

best bienes realtor The Federal Aviation Administration has issued height approval for a second tower at The River District in Brickell. The second tower is permitted to rise 642 feet above ground, or 650 feet above sea level – identical to an another tower already under construction in the district. The approval was issued on February 16. Construction on the second tower is expected to begin in early 2023. The new tower will be condos, with sales launching soon. Eventually, the development will be known as The River District, with four towers and 4 million square feet of new development. Two towers are planned with apartments (one is already under construction), one with condos, and one with office. The district will include about 1,600 residences, Class A office space, 30,000 square feet of retail, a boat marina that can accommodate 60-foot vessels, and 2,000 covered parking spots. David Grutman of Groot Hospitality has partnered with Chetrit to oversee dining and entertainment in the development.
